Yesterday was a day of success, in finishing my Project with the Mallards, and also replacing the photo shots on the "projects in progress page"  with a video, which has all come together nicely, so in the future may have a video coverage rather than just photos, enjoy its been fun, and now planning for the next one, although must do some small birds for up and coming arts and craft show in November, until next time keep safe,
       Regards Ken.

Hi folks, mentioned in a early blog that I hope to install HD video of the Mallard Project, and decided to have a little test of my up-grade in the studio with a small video, but I found I was having trouble with the download, so contacted the team at Weebly for some help, spent the evening having another go at the problem,so here go'es !!, if this works this time I will be more confident with the mallard project and anything in the future.

Yipee : it works, a little stretched, but its a start, music by the  "Shadow" (Mustang) as normally my music is always up an running, until next time stay safe,
Regards Ken.

 A step forward

Spent the week-end in the studio on stage two mallard, have all most completed the top side of body and wings, with feather fitting, burning of texture, and one under-side of wing to go, and finish of body texture, fit some feet, then into painting, yip ee getting close to finish day, its been fun and a great learning curve, which has given me the determination to try large subjects in the future.
Also had great news over the week-end from the Gallery Lavaud "Akaroa" Ijan had sold another small bird (Riflman) to a Christchurch couple, which also means I must do the little birds as well, thank you Ijan and Pip.
Still working on video of Mallard project, but have found that I can not add video footage to it until I have competed the whole project, so sorry about that, but it will happen I hope, until next time take care, Regards Ken.

Spring Clean

Hi one and all, dew to visiting my so called " health and safety "rule's in the studio, I decided to  spend the start of September doing an upgrade to clear the floor space, of chainsaws, sanding machines and other items that may be of a problem,as well as fitting some new storage units to home some of my smaller equipment, which has come together rather well.
But most of all I was instructed to build another work bench,(which started all this upgrade ) by my 6yr old  grand-daughter, as she insist there is not enough space on my bench, when she decides to under-take her projects, but over- all I didn't mind as it is great fun have her in the studio.
Picture
Recently done some more work on the Mallard project, ( 2nd bird ) and added some more photos, but what I have under-taken is that I have started to put together a video off the photo's, but will not post to replace these, until project has been completed, which should be easy on the eye.
Until next time take care one and all regards Ken.
